I understand that contacting a therapist can be an anxiety-inducing experience and I hope you will find the details on this website reassuring.
My name is Nicola. I am a warm, empathic person and as a therapist committed to supporting my clients. I am a qualified psychotherapist with 15 years of professional experience of working with anxiety and depression and with people who have experienced trauma.
I work at Cornerstone Counselling and Therapy Centre as a Therapist, Supervisor and Business Development Manager. I began work as a therapist at Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Service in 2011 and continue in my current role as Assessment Counsellor.
I have also worked at SYEDA (South Yorkshire Eating Disorder Association) and Together Women Project.
Background
I am married, have a child and enjoy hiking and long walks in the countryside. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in casting and marketing bronze resin garden sculptures. Along with my colleagues, we were awarded a Silver Gilt at Chelsea Flower Show.
